Blogging took off as a hobby, sport or business years ago. Why am I starting one now?
Great question.
Why do most people start blogs? I suspect most because they think they have something to contribute to this collective consciousness called the Internet. Others do so to provide value to their followers. Me? I’m somewhere in between. Maybe it’s because I have thoughts on the inside trying to escape to the outside.
But a Blog? In the age of Social Media? True, but Social Media is controlled by others. That’s not me – or at least I like to think that. I want to be able to say what I want and invite comments when I want (assuming anyone reads it).
It’s a journey and not a destination. I hope it takes me to where I want it to go.
