After watching this beautiful sunset in Santa Fe, NM, it occurred to me that somewhere else in the world that same sun was part of a sunrise (that somewhere else would be Mandalay, Myanmar, and sorry, I don’t have a photo of that).
This got me to thinking. As we go through phases in life, when the sun sets on one phase, it is also rising on another. Some times it rises in familiar territory, other times in a completely new world. The key is Carpe Diem (“seize the day”) no matter where it is.
